Research Interests

 Asma is interested in conspiracy theories and the cognitive processes underlying these theories. Specifically, Asma investigates the ways in which distrust contexts might affect conspiracy theorizing.

Research Interests

Chen’s main interest lies in the cognitive mechanisms underlying the development of creative thinking, focusing on the influences of one’s trust level on creative search. Moreover, Chen studies the relationship between physiological arousal and creative search processes.

Research Interests

The manifestation of our given name - a social tag - in our external facial appearance. Based on an earlier finding that adults look like their names, Noa wishes to examine whether our given name is a self-fulfilling prophecy, that is to say if a person's appearance grows similar over the years to his given name. For that purpose, in her thesis, Noa aims to see whether young children, too, look like their name.

Gal is interested in the way people evaluate the content they write online and whether it promotes the publication of false information, offensive comments, and extremely private content. Through her research, Gal aims to provide possible solutions to reduce the dissemination of harmful content.
